И еще одна веселуха

Про Опель. Тот самый, который как Гарри Поттер, только машина.
Как известно, торговой маркой Опель, а также всеми заводами, примерно с конца 20х годов прошлого века владела GM.
Однако, в этом году GM таки начала процедуру банкротства. Сама процедура там тоже была довольно феерическая, с перекладыванием долгов "старой GM" на государство и отделением "новой GM" без долгов, но со всеми производственными активами. Но сейчас не об этом.
Так вот, в рамках той же процедуры банкротства, Opel должен быть продан. На данный момент есть 2 основных претендента:
1) Канадская Magna в консорциуме с российским Сбербанком (ГАЗ там деньгами не участвует, он выступает в роли "технического консультанта")
2) таинственный "бельгийский инвестиционный фонд" RHJ International.
При этом в случае, если покупателем станет №1, немецкое правительство обещает дать денег, примерно 8,5 млрд евро, "на развитие производства", и вообще всячески продвигает покупателя №1
Покупателя же №2 продвигает сам GM. При этом, как я понимаю, процедура банкротства (в данном случае - "очищения от долгов") уже произведена, и нужды продать "хоть кому-нибудь" у GM нет.

Матиас Допфнер - He is currently Chairman and CEO of Axel Springer AG in Berlin, which he joined in 1998 as Editor-in-chief of Die Welt. He has been a Member of the Management Board there since the year 2000. Mathias Döpfner has held several different positions in media companies during his career. Amongst others, as Editor-in-Chief of the Wochen Post and the Hamburger Morgenpost newspapers. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Board of Directors at Time Warner, Inc. Бьорн Кениг - is currently an adviser to private equity and alternative asset management groups - специалист по "решению проблем" и "альтернативным источникам инвестиций". Милостивые судари, это, интересно, что такое? Погуглите его. Фантастические будут результаты - с кем он там общается.

Джан Макихара - is currently the Chairman of Neoteny Co., Ltd., an early stage venture investment firm in Japan. А это что? Инвестиционная компания "раннего этапа"? Уже вторая темная лошадка с чьими-то деньгами. Не буду ребячествовать и пробовать угадать, чьи это средства.

Герд Хауслер - Between 2001 and 2006 he was Counselor and Director of the International Capital Markets Department of the IMF responsible for all financial markets-related work. Напоминаю - IMF - это Международный валютный фонд. Без комментариев.

Джереми Силлем - is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Spencer House Partners LLP. Prior to establishing Spencer House Partners, he was the Chairman of Bear, Stearns International Limited. Внимание! этот банк грохнулся в Штатах первым еще в октябре 2007 года. From 1985 to 1995 he worked for Lazard Frères & Co, New York where he was the general partner responsible for equity sales, trading and research and then for all corporate finance. In 1995, he returned to Europe to create and run Lazard Capital Markets for the three Lazard firms in New York, London and Paris.

В общем, этакий "БайкалФинансГруп" на американский манер.
